In many ways, we all have a shared understanding of what successful investing looks like. Typically, we measure success through financial returns, the value created, or even “impact” metrics that highlight social good. But what about those aspects of success that are more difficult to quantify? To address these, we’ve coined the term "Yinvestor.", someone do not agree that Financial solutions are seen as a mechanical system divorced from life.

A Yinvestor is not simply a woman engaging in the traditional types of investing that have long been dominated by men. Rather, it refers to someone—often, but not exclusively, a woman—who is helping shift the investment paradigm to embrace values that are more aligned with traditionally feminine or Yin principles.

The Yinvestor invests resources to nurture organizations, projects, and founders that:

Provide solutions and services to the people and places that need them most
Infuse beauty and intelligence into the world, shaping its form and future
Spread the spirit of empathy, kindness, and compassion

Before we aim for large-scale systemic change, we need recognize the need for a profound, “include and transcend” healing process within both our cultural and economic environments. if economic power can be a force for good, the time is now.
